I have always been raised to respect the elders and stay humble in the face of success. In fact, my own immediate family have never celebrated any of my so called "achievement" thus far. There was never a point where I was good enough. When I was there to meet their expectation, they just simply raise the bar higher for me. Well, the world is limitless. What you can achieve is limitless right?. I am not complaining as these are the values that bring me to where I am today.
So why is it still so difficult for me to stay humble?
Recently I got a rude awakening and it was a huge slap to my ego. Before the event, I feel that I'm invincible. I dare to dream of perfection and to be honest, I've been there. However, it does not mean you'll be there forever and you can still Fail! :(
To the main point of the post (What!? loooong paragraph but not the main point..hehe) In the face of failure, I am ashamed to admit I have not so good thoughts in my head. Thoughts that I will not reveal here.
Thoughts that I only feel safe to blurt out to my one and only. Not even to my family or closest friend. To the one and only person who will not judge me, who will understand why, who I'm confident will still love me with all his heart.
Catfish, I have a lot of stories to tell you tonight.. so clear your schedule and prepare a cup of hot choco!!

Locking our L.O.V.E in Namsan Tower
We did 2 things when we were in Namsan Tower, Seoul.
One of course was to lock our "DD Padlock" on top of Namsam Mountain (262meters) in the heart of Seoul at N Seoul Tower (236meters). Look at the amount of padlocks behind us. This is only a small part of it.
Fortunately for us, the DD Padlock was just the right size and we were able to lock it at the bar above. Smaller padlock will need to lock theirs at the grill pattern bar. Credit to our friend Pin Pin that helped us to DD-fied the padlock.
Anyone in Korea? Do let us know the condition of our DD Padlock ya. =D On second thought, let us know only if it's good news.. hahaha..
Another couple from our group also did the same. Their padlock is the bling bling gold one.

Besides locking our love, we were also given the opportunity to send our love and regards to our family & friends from the tower. Each of us bought a postcard and mail it back to our respective hometown.
Lastly, DDs have level up recently. Catfish proposed to me after our Korea trip. Wish us all the best!! ^_^

Annyeong Haseyo!
It's been a while since we written anything here but Catfish brought Nibble of Thoughts up and suddenly just felt like posting something up.
Not sure where to start so I randomly went through our photo album and pick something to share. Guess what? Food grabs my attention.. No surprise.. ;)
So we were in Korea last March..
We discover a chicken skewers stall at the crossroad in front of Ehwa University. It tasted so so good. The chicken was tender and the sauce was just so tasty. Bonus point for the complimentary unlimited rice cake for you to have together with your skewers.
Being that it was our first day and the first stall we tried, we reserved the space in our tummy for some other hidden gem along the way. Who knows what we will discover if the first stall discovered by chance is already so good. It definitely set our expectation way up high for the other street vendors. Unfortunately others did not match up. T_T
Also another bonus point, the Uncle greeted us with a big "SELAMAT DATANG" and "TERIMA KASIH" when he found out we were from Malaysia. We were impressed. He told us he loves the beauty of language and value the communication with his customer. By interacting with his customer daily, he picked up simple greetings in various language.
Definitely a good memory from Korea.
OK. That should cover 0.0001% of our experience in Korea. It was an awesome trip. =D
You may or may not hear from us again here. We'll see..
